We purchase blue crabs that are approaching their molt and place them in our shedding operation, where they're monitored closely until they shed. They're removed from the water while completely soft, then cleaned, individually wrapped and frozen.
Primes: 4.5 to 5 inches, on average

Whales: over 5.5 inches, on average
Bites: Bodies only cleaned and ready to cook 75 pieces per box
